SL/HL HTML Web Design Activities

Desinging websites using HTML

Using the link above or any other, attempt the challenge below using HTML codes ONLY;

Challenge
Design any website of your choice with the following; The site will have
- A Title of the website in atleast the 5 pages.
- Menus in each page that link to atleast the 5 similar pages.
- A Brief related explaination for each page.
- Atleast 2 related images for each page.
- Appropriate font color and font type with appealing back ground color.
- Atleast a table in one of the pages with information
- A Feedback form that allows visitor to give feeback

NB: Any other applied techniques will be rewarded.

All the files and the images used will be saved in a single folder which will be submitted for grading on 28th Feb 2012.

HL Only: Robotics activity

You will undertake an individual investigation on a different robot in the specific application scenario assigned. The work will be assessed and it is to be emailed by Monday next week. The report will have the following sub-headings;
  • An introduction of the robot, and the designer of the robot

  • A clear description of what the robot does explaining any related technologies used where possible

  • The impacts of using the robot in the particular specific application scenario

  • The social and ethical issues arising from using the robot in the specific area

  • Some suggested solutions to the main problems identified from using the robots.

  • The report will have;
  • a maximum of three pages inclusive of bibliography in APA format.

  • Page numbers and your name as an header.

  • Use either Tahoma 11 or 12 font type with single spacing.
