Article number 2 on the blog:Artificial intelligence is going mobile.
Medical records, texts, journals and research documents are all written in natural language – a language that computers traditionally struggle to understand. A system that instantly delivers a single, precise answer from these documents could transform the healthcare field, allowing mobile devices to perform diagnosis.
a) Define natural language
b) Describe how AI could be used in Medical Diagnosis
AT&T is exploring ways to let people use voice commands to get directions while driving and control appliances such as television sets.
c) Explain how mobile speech recognition utilizes AI
Intel is developing a technology that could be built into a wireless hat and work as a “mental typewriter.” By scanning brain waves, it can guess what a person is thinking and predict search queries.
d) Evaluate/Discuss the benefits/ drawbacks of such technology in one AOI
In the future Artificial Intelligence and eGovernment will be synonymous. The Future of IT and AI will be anticipating the needs of the civilization and society in real-time using supercomputers and prediction software in the The eRepublic.
a)define what is meant by real-time used in supercomputers?
b)describe how the super computer mayor will commmunicate to and keep track of the city and its civil servants? e.g police men
c)explain why the use of this system may work for some countries and not others?
d)Evaluate the social and ethical issues that may arise from the use of the Artificial intelliget system?

Define what AI is.
Describe the process involved in this type of system
Explain the benefits of learning from the budhabot
Evaluate three limitaitons of the budhabot.
Introduction
Artificial Intelligence can be used to strategise and plan moves of players in a team game.
“The principal aim of this Project is to determine certain performance indicators in team sport competition and training for analyzing what kind of plays and strategies are most apt for each case. "In the near future, performance analysis of executions and decisions in real time could be made, providing precise feedback to improve performance during competition," remarked the head of the research at the Artificial Intelligence Group.
One of the keys of the project lies in the introduction of Artificial Intelligence in order to evaluate the actions which make up the plays in team sports. The scientists have focused the first prototype in which they are working on basketball, and they hope to obtain models for automated analysis of sport behavior.”
Questions
a) Define artificial intelligent?
b) Describe the how the expert systems will be formulated?
c) Explain the benefits to a coach can use the system to train his team?
d) Evaluate the impact this technology will have on Team Games?
Japan's aging population has ignited a parade of efforts to design fully functional robots to aid in nursing homes. Knowing that a companion can relieve stress and elevate mood, researchers at Waseda University in Japan have released Kobian, an "emotional humanoid robot," to therapeutically promote health for nursing home patients. Not only does Kobian have full use of his legs and arms, but he also has eyelids, lips and eyebrows so that he can cry, act happy, sad, surprised and angry
Define what a humanoid is?
Describe the different hardware requirements in the humanoid in order for it to mimic human emotions
Explain Some of the limitations in the technology used in a humanoid
Discuss some of the social/ethical issues wih humanoids working in nursing homes and caring for the elderly
